I signed up with iPage, acquired my domain, benbrookcottage.com. I cannot find a one click install button for WordPress on the cPanel. Any advice? Thanks so much.

Shweta Agnihotri First of all, I want to say great blog! I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind. I am using Reddit and hubpages to drive traffic but unfortunately, I got banned from hubpages. do you have any idea to get unbanned from hubpages.?
Hi Jeni, Yes, thanks for the great article and useful time management tips. I’ll make sure to mention it on my blog where I talk about my experiences with various time management methods and techniques. Richa recently posted..Sand Clock for Effective Time Management – really?
Pavitra Kumar Hiii, Great suggestions here, Ankit Singla I just visit an excellent blog, I truly appreciate this article. Blogging Tips for New Bloggers very important for the success of a blog. Listen, there’s only so much content that one person can churn out – week after week, month after month. If you have even a few hundred followers, you probably have folks who would love to share their best ideas with your readers. So put out the A.P.B. and ask for proposals or submissions for a regular feature on your blog. You’ll gain the freedom to focus on making your own work better while exchanging blog traffic (and hopefully growing your readership!) at the same time.

Growing a mailing list is possibly the most efficient way we increased the reach of our blog. Without it, you’ll have to be meticulous about with whom to share your new articles in the hopes of getting retweets, +1’s and backlinks.
Hannie Blaise February 8, 2016 at 8:49 pm I can definitely agree with the investing point. This is great advice! Though I’m staying with Blogger for now, just with my own domain. Thanks for sharing!
Heres my suggestion: Before you start a blog, make sure you have some ideas what to write about. If you dont have any think about your hobbies or things youre passionate about. This helped me to find my niche/topic for my blog. Awesome guide, by the way.
In addition, this tactic helps you maintain good relations with the influencers, as well as showing them your gratitude and appreciation for their work. In return, they may share your content with their own audience.
Really useful list of advice. I would add: develop a habit of writing and editing an article on one day, and proofreading the article a day or two later to give yourself some time away from it. Also use the text-to-speech feature to hear the article outloud. And finally, don’t publish more than two articles per week. You need time to work on many of the other tasks, especially blog promotion, outline this post.
14. Find And Fix your Website Issues Are you struggling to boost your search engine traffic even if you are posting good content regularly? The problem might be, then, your website has some crawling, SEO or compatibility issues. Google always gives top priority to the sites that are both search engine and user-friendly. If your site is not browser-friendly or having lengthy article titles or meta description, it can do some serious damage to your overall search traffic. So make sure to use tools like SEMrush to find and fix all your website issues. SEMrush has an incredible feature called “Site Audit” where you can create a project with your own domain name to find all the issues your site has. There are also so many free tools out there such as Plugin SEO, SEO site checkup, Broken Link Checker, etc. to find if your site has any problems related to SEO. #BloggingTips - Find And Fix your Website Issues Click to Tweet

You probably know measuring the success of your content is important, but it really doesn’t do any good to look at the statistics and then do nothing else. Instead, measure the success of individual blog posts and decide whether you need to make improvements.
hey i actaully have 2 questions about starting a blog..1. is that if i just have a free blog on WordPress, and my blog is owned by them, will i still get money for it?? 2. i already made a free WordPress blog, but in case of any mind changes can i switch to a hosting company (iPage) while still keeping the page i have already made? or would i have to start all over again?

People are willing to follow the call to action (whether it’s to download a white paper, click a link to a company’s product/service page, share via social media, etc.) when businesses create content that promotes ideas and information instead of content that promotes their product or service.
Ask readers for their opinions in your articles. It will increase comments on your blog and your readers will not feel that they are reading an article written by robot. You should work hard on getting more comments as it helps in ego boost of yourself and your blog. Make sure, you get meaningful comments and avoid accepting comments like “Thank you” “Nice post”, as reader can always show their appreciation by sharing your post on social media sites.
Kristin February 19, 2016 at 10:51 am I love your blog! I just stumbled upon it and signed up for your emails too, great stuff. I started a travel/cooking blog and I’m loving all of your blogging tips, such a huge help. Thanks for sharing!
May 8, 2014 Reply Konrad Sanders Thanks for your input Joseph! I think you’ve made a good point. Blogging is first and foremost about sharing your wisdom and viewpoint for free – not about self-promotion. By building trust and a long-lasting relationship with readers (while establishing yourself as an expert and raising brand awareness), conversions will come later on down the line. Have a swell day mate!

It should be obvious, but I see so many people thinking that their blog is going to take off very quickly, and they’ll become rich or famous in no time flat. It’s not their fault – so many ‘experts’ make it seem easy and achievable.
MOHAN NAYAK Hi Ankit, Excellent Article, it will be very helpful to every newbie blogger. I just want to say, even before starting out we have to select the perfect niche and need to plan accordingly. Yes, it Maybe useless to focus on off-page SEO from day one, but we have to implement best on-page SEO strategies from day one like, we have to provide unique, useful and engaging content with a clean structure. Because these techniques can make our visitors happy. Am I right Ankit? Reply

I always encourage my friends to look at WPengine for hosting, its a bit more pricey but is really stable and reliable, plus they include tons of goodies that are usually considered a premium service and they all work without a struggle. Thinks like a CDN, Backups, Offload to S3. All these things can really help the quality and consistency of your site and are definitely something to think about whether you are a beginner or an advanced blogger.
Quick Note: You can use GetResponse, MailChimp, etc. to start growing your email list. They both offer free trials and if you want to know which is the best email autoresponder to start building your email list, read this article.
Ah, such a rarity to find a fellow blogger that throws all the “rules” to the wind and just does what they please. What a refreshing read – and encouraging, too, considering that you’re a prime example of success. Thank you for this, Erin. XO
I left one of my favourites till last. Nikki Parkinson is the founder of Styling You, the winner of the Best Australian Blog 2011 – and author of “Unlock Your Style”. I talked about Nikki’s impact on my own blog here, but she has been a long-time proponent of blogging to build community and to build that community organically. She gives a great reminder for any budding blogger to think of your blog in terms of community and to be willing to invest time to allow it to grow:
